Going on 9 months!

She turned 8 months last Saturday. She is doing everything an 8 month old would do and its lovely to watch! Bru and I look into her eyes wondering if we are in a dream…. Sometimes it feels like it’s just a little too good to be true. She has had a couple of falls and I presume more awaits the little explorer. Jan cant wait to get on her toes. It seems that she wants to walk before she crawls.

As amazing as she is Jan has become more aware of the daily norms, routines and everyday set up. Her cereal, bath, dressing up, play time, sleepy rocks and car rides are a few of the things that are familiar to her. Singing to her she loves and playing with her, she enjoys very much…. Unfortunately I can’t do it as much as id like to. Her naps are still VERY short. She gives you just enough time for a quick shower. The laughs can melt your heart if you’re lucky enough to hear them. That’s the very best part….!

I guess I should write here a little about her environment… After moving into Menomonee falls we realized how much we were missing at brown deer. Here is so much nicer and the little city is colourful and lively. Everyday the view outside the window brings so much peace and joy to the heart. It’s as lovely as the ocean. Green, Calm and quiet with birds and rabbits and of course a few bugs. The heat has been under control so far but they say August is the hottest. As we await another ramazan for the first time here, and make plans for a year end holiday back home I must say… life wouldn’t have been half as much without little J’s dadada and bababa…. She makes everything special and is the pivot of our world right now!
