The first year of life draws to a close!

As Haroon turns one I cant help but want his birthday to mean something and for him to do some good to someone in someway because there are millions out there that need our help. We therefore decided to celebrate him differently by sharing and giving rather than partying.

I am hoping that if brought up with the right values he will not only appreciate this step but also make an attempt to continue to make his date of birth meaningful in some way.

Nevertheless this day last year brings back memories of my birth story... My decision to be brave and go 100% natural... My fear and the literal outburst of life from within me! To me the birthdays of my children will always be special!
