The little girl’s progress

She is turning into being more like a girl than a baby each day, Masha Allah. Apart from counting, identifying shapes and colours, imitating animal sounds recognizing alphabets, J has also got quite attached to her jungle of stuffed animals. She seems to like them very much and wants to play with them quite often. She is also quite the talker and mess maker. As for keeping her occupied it varies from ridiing her car, doing her colouring, playing with water during her bath time, building up towers with her blocks, meals and a two hour nap time. Its too cold to take her to parks so we occasionally take her to the mall play area. She is also fond of reciting Quran which include sura fathiha, sura Iklas and the night prayer in addition to her mumbling assalamu alaikum, bismillah and alhamdulillah before and after meals and after sneezing. Shopping is not one of her favourite outings but nevertherless she just loves to tag along with mum and dad wherever they may be headed to. Her love for singing whether it be in the car or while she is playing seems to be overgrowing!

This year is going to be a big year for her Insha Allah. Big sister and all. The grandparents are going to fuss over her and spoil her while they are here but yeah she deserves it. With so little company she deserves all the attention she can get. So until next time these are the adventures of 2.2 year old little princess.
